What is the Pearls Challenge
The Pearl Challenge proposes to clearly show, through inventive pictures in black and whitethe elegance and sensuality of women with breast most cancers, without having showing their scars, but as an ode to their struggle, a celebration of existence and female elegance.
The proposal is to make a photographic exhibition with women who are going through therapy for breast most cancers and explain to a little bit of their trajectory. The pictures manufactured will mainly concentration on the elegance and female sensuality, which transcend not only the disorder by itself, but also any pre-established social sample. The texts that accompany the pictures in the exhibition, will concentration on the conquering story of every single female photographed.
Alongside with the exhibition, we will publish a e book with the pictures and the stories of these women, and distribute , absolutely free of any cost, in most cancers therapy centers. We intend, with this action, fostering Brazilian inventive creation in the environment and lead to the rescue of the self-esteem of women going through therapy for breast most cancers, assisting to demystify the taboo that exists in our modern society on women with breast most cancers and their femininity / elegance.
The job includes the participation of the photographer Ale Coelho, which captures with excellent sensitivity the deepest human feelings in his pictures, with creation and art way by Mel Masoni.
