How do you make laugh? Write the funniest paragraph or sentence you’ve ever read or wrote.
I'm not talking about jokes; I'm interested on true stand-alone sentences or phrases that can make you laugh out loud without having to know a lot of background of the characters and culture of the book. I'm struggling the migration from comic-drawing to pure writing, and I'm too used to using the cartoonish and non-verbal actions and expressions to deliver comedy, and that kind of speed can't be done in writing.
And I know that explaining why something it's funny it kills the joke, but I'd like to see you explain why the text you chose is funny to you.
