Before founding Hyperbolous, CEO Blaine Lifton built enduring relationships at previous agencies with clients like WebMD and Sleep Number. Those connections were so strong that when Lifton set up his new shop, established in 2002 as Free Enterprise and rebranded as Hyperbolous in November 2015, he eventually managed to attract both clients to his venture. "It shows a great belief in us and what we can do," Lifton said.

The full-service agency has done everything from creating TV spots of real people testing Sleep Number beds on camera to designing packaging for a maple water brand, Drinkmaple—and it always delivers results. Recent work for Drinkmaple, which included everything from package design to an animated film, landed the product on Whole Foods Market shelves, and work for Sleep Number helped the mattress company's stock rise from the ashes of the Great Recession.
